Underdogs Rise!
Another year in the books! I can't believe it's been over 3 years since MachoMike.TV launched. Big ups to everyone who has been on this journey with me at any point so far. I hope you all remained safe and happy during the holidays. Lots of stuff happened for me and even more is planned for 2024.
A brief recap of 2023
Starting with January - I launched my own solo Twitch stream called (believe it or not) The Macho Stream. After some expected growing pains early on, I made some tweaks and seem to have developed quite the rhythm now. Originally intended to be just a monthly special event (like pro wrestling does with their pay-per-views) it's become so much fun that I really am looking into expanding the number of streams I do per month. Continuing through the year I made more videos with stronger production values and more planning than before and saw their popularity rise higher than ever before. I also celebrated my 3 year anniversary with the return of The Reviewer Rumble. Originally debuting for my 1 year Anniversary Special back in 2021, it was really well received and the 2023 Reviewer Rumble for my 3 year Anniversary was even better received with more viewers and a more entertaining Rumble too. Now the original plan for my 3 Year Anniversary was a joint crossover review of "Freddy Vs. Jason" (timing in perfectly with the that movie's 20 year anniversary) with a different content creator. Someone I had never worked with before. After a long search it became readily apparent that Grimm was just the slasher I needed to make this happen. Due to some scheduling conflicts we ended up doing this crossover for a Halloween release instead and it turned out more Macho than ever! I'm proud of all of my videos and anyone else I have crossed over with in the past was good, but Grimm provided more input and creativity into that collab than anyone else I have worked with to date. I really can't speak highly enough of Grimm. A true class act I hope to work with again in the future. The remainder of 2023 was spent creating MORE Macho Mike content for YOU! New merch, more videos, and even more social media presence like Bluesky and Threads. I want to thank all of YOU Underdogs of your continued support. I notice my video views and website traffic keeps increasing and my social media followers are growing too. I really can’t express enough gratitude to you all.
For 2024
More but better! Lots more videos are currently in the can including Macho Movies, On Tour, and of course, more Macho Streams on Twitch are on the way too along with NEW Macho Merchandise designs coming soon... and maybe a few other surprises as well.
